This error affects the SEO of your website, so you should fix it quickly in this way. Note that when you change the settings of Permalink in your website, it gives a new format to the links of all your posts. This URL becomes the default URL of your posts and updates it on all search engines on the second day itself. This causes all the URLs of your old posts to be changed to ‘404 Not Found’ because there are no posts on that URL.
*You must remove all these URLs from the search engines. (Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo Etc.)
Any search engine you use has the function of the remove URL, after visiting it, you put all the URLs to be removed one by one. All your URLs will be deleted within 2 or 3 days and you will not face any problem of ‘404 Not Found’.
WordPress User :- If you are a WordPress user, you can use the Yoast SEO Premium plugin, it automatically detects the ‘404 Not Found’ URLs present in your website and informs you immediately. You can then redirect these URLs to any other URL through this plugin. This will remove your ‘404 Not Found’ error from all search engines.
